Goods and transports
symbol of urban container we wanted to ask if the container itself is not already a symbol, and what this symbolize
The container is universally recognized as the icon of the transport, the main world markets through the container is transported by landby sea or by air, Genoa is a node in the global transportationnetwork and is an interchange: the containers from the transportationpass water to land transport. The container in the port of Genoa, it is moved, lifted and rearranged into a new means of transport.

Concept
The momentum of the carriage was our inspiration our offer for aurban symbol, a symbol that could tell the endless stream of goodscontained in the container, a symbol that would evoke a staticmoment of reflection in the people and to symbolize the strong connection between Genoa and the container.

UrbanEYE is a frame for Genoa is a void that wants to enhance through itssimple and linear shape human activities are behind the trade. The opera is designed to the extreme south of Via Corsica, from thetowering hills of Carignano and overlooking the harbor, precisely in the area of ship repair one of the most active areas of the port, itemphasizes the movement. The industrial cranes are here in constant motion, featuring a vertical landscape constantly changing:their cranes act as urbanEYE dancers on stage, in a choreographymade of metal, wires and goods, and 'suspended load' uses such as Renzo Piano define the 'identity of the ancient harbor, a suggestion that led to the Bigo.
